Rapper Meechie Alexander hails from Vinton, LA by way of Sin City aka Las Vegas, NV. He was born Dimitri Alexander Amos in North Las Vegas in 1991. Going back and forth between Vinton and North Las Vegas from a young boy to a man, obstacles in his life weren’t a rarity. Growing up without a father figure, he looked to inspiration from artists such as Scarface, Master P, 2Pac, and DMX. From making transitions between the country to a big city, Meechie realized that his voice has an unique sound. Southern tone mixed with West Coast. The talented artist showcased his skills on the hardwood and gridiron as well as in the booth. After playing some years in college his ambitions to become an artist grew along with his love for music. He took a gamble on his dream and switched lanes. Now ten toes down in his craft he has put out consistent projects since 2018. His buzz grew and even started to get noticed by an artist breaking the scene named Larry June. He joined him on tour to cities in Seattle, WA and New Orleans, LA. His grind, faith in God and hustle made him to be the artist he is today.
